The concept

Why this app

Muraja'a — reviewing what you've already memorized — usually means juggling several tools at once: one for the audio, one for the mushaf, another to track verse ranges and repetitions. I wanted a single, focused space that removes that friction.

The interface stays deliberately quiet — warm cream and forest tones, a gold accent, generous spacing — so nothing competes with the recitation itself. Every setting (surah, verse range, reciter, repetitions) is visible at a glance, with no menus to dig through.

What the app does

Three ways to revise
Work through a full surah, a hizb, or build a custom playlist — whichever way you organize your revision.
Custom verse ranges
Focus on exactly the verses you're working on by setting a start and end point within any surah.
Choice of reciter
Listen with Ali Al-Hudhayfi, Ibrahim Akhdar, or Al-Husary — pick the voice that helps you memorize best.
Repetitions & weighted progress
Set how many times each verse repeats before moving on. Progress is weighted by actual verse length, not just verse count, for a fairer picture.
On-screen verse & error annotation
The verse displays on screen in sync with the audio. Tap any word to flag a slip — forgotten, tajwid, or hesitation — each with its own color.
Verse view or full page
Switch between a single verse or the whole surah on screen, with the verse currently playing highlighted in green.
Offline downloads
Download any surah's audio to revise without an internet connection.
